Event details

Mindfulness is about learning to be in the moment and moving away from ruminating on the past or worrying about the future. Studies show that this can help to reduce the level of stress we experience. In this course, you will learn a range of formal and informal practices, which includes meditation and a variety of cognitive exercises, aimed at bringing greater awareness, clarity, concentration and choice to experience. The course will run weekly for 8 weeks, and you will be required to complete some practice at home. Please email enable@soton.ac.uk to find out more information or to apply to join the course.
