SpLD group workshop: Presentation Skills Event

Designed for students with a specific learning difficulty such as Dyslexia, this workshop is designed to help improve your confidence in delivering oral presentations and will cover the basics of a good oral presentation, including presentation structure and visual aids. We will provide tips on timing, delivery, answering questions and coping with nerves. We will explore different presentation types, including: virtual presentations, video essays, and pre-recorded presentations. We will also consider effective practice within group presentations, including managing virtual group meetings. There will be opportunities to ask questions related to your own work and share experiences with others, in a small, informal group setting.The workshop will take place virtually via MS Teams.
