Event details

The Social Prescribing Service, part of the local GP surgeries, is here to support the non-medical aspects of health – good relationships, a feeling of purpose and your mental health. They work with you to find suitable activities and social support to improve your health and sense of wellness.

If you would like help to be more active, to meet new people, or if you need housing or financial advice and don’t know where to start, Social Prescribing could be of benefit to you.

Jade from the Social Prescribing Service will be available to speak to you one-to-one to explore how you might improve your health and wellbeing. To provide the best service, students accessing the drop-ins should be signed up at the University Health Service or a local GP such as Highfield Health.

Please take a seat in the Wellbeing Centre waiting area and Jade will come and meet you. As this is a drop-in session, there is no need to book - we cannot guarantee a time that you will be seen so there may be a short wait.

Visit this map to see where the Wellbeing Centre is - it is listed as 1051. 28 University Road. Please enter the Wellbeing Centre via the back door and turn right to sit in the waiting area.
