Event details

The Student Disability and Inclusion Team presents a series of Group Workshops which are designed for autistic students and those awaiting a diagnosis. You do not need a formal diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) to join the workshops. What people really mean: A relaxed and practical session, we will look at how language is used by people who are neurotypical and what it means. We’ll look at what is said and also what isn’t said and how we can interpret and understand this. We will also look at ways to communicate in group work and work environments. Please do come with examples of things you have read and heard that have been unclear or not as you expected.

This is Part D of a series of workshops designed to support students with ASC. Students may choose to attend Parts A to E, however there is no requirement to attend all sessions.

If you would like to book on to this session, please email studenthub@soton.ac.uk
