Event details

A small group workshop designed for students with a specific learning difference such as Dyslexia, this workshop is designed to help you maximize the critical content within an assignment. We will share tips on how to critically assess and question the books, journal articles and websites you find, discover more about the tools to help and how critical thinking adds weight and strength to your work. We will demonstrate active and critical reading strategies, which help you get what you need from text in a way that is efficient, reducing the need to re-read text multiple times. This is a small group, interactive workshop, with wopportunities to discuss and share experiences with other students. The workshop will take place via Teams. This is part of a series of Introduction to Study Skills workshops. Students may choose to attend any from the series, there is no requirement to attend all three sessions.
