Mr Kai-Ping Liu is Postgraduate research student within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

Previously, he studied the simulation of the power converter control and received the MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (2014). He worked as the system application engineer at the power IC design companies for 3.5 years. Then, he did the additional studies in the permanent magnet machine design and completed the MSc degree programme of Electrical Power with a Distinction from Newcastle University (2020).
