In addition to general consultancy undertaken by our academics, we provide consultancy through our well-established, specialist enterprise units.
The five consultancy units in Engineering and the Environment have dedicated and professional teams solely deployed to work on projects with external organisations. The units offer specialist consultancies ranging from a single day to longer-term research projects.
Our units offer the highest standard of facilities and research expertise over many aspects of engineering. These include bioengineering, cryogenics, electrochemistry, engineering design and computational modelling, materials, tribology, marine technology and industrial aerodynamics, and sound and vibration.
Units have close links with each other and with other University-based consultancy groups, which allows interdisciplinary projects to be tackled, with bespoke teams of experts assembled to meet your particular needs.
