Top of the table for the School of Engineering Sciences
The School of Engineering Sciences has retained its number 1 position at the top of the Guardian League Table for Mechanical Engineering (which includes Aero and Ship Science) for the second year running.
The School's impressive scores of 90% course satisfaction and 89% satisfaction with teaching combined with an excellent student:staff ratio of 7.2 have secured Southampton's pole position for 2011.
