Langdon named as MRS Fellow
Director of the Centre for Bulk Nanostructured Materials and Research Professor of Materials Science, Professor Terence Langdon has recently been named as a 2011 MRS fellow (Materials Research Society).
The title of MRS Fellow honours those MRS members who are notable for their distinguished research accomplishments and their outstanding contributions to the advancement of materials research, world-wide. This honour is highly selective and only 0.2% of current MRS members can be appointed as Fellows annually.
Professor Langdon will be recognised at the 2011 MRS Spring Meeting in San Francisco.
Professor Langdon is also a fellow of 9 other professional bodies including the Royal Academy of Engineering, The World Innovation Foundation and the European Academy of Sciences.
