Lindsay-Marie Armstrong wins Felix Weinberg Prize
Dr Lindsay-Marie Armstrong has been awarded the 2011 Felix Weinberg Prize.
Lindsay is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Energy Technology research group. She was awarded the prize at the Meeting on Current Research on Combustion, held in Loughborough, for her presentation on "Three-dimensional multiphase modelling of the desulphurisation process in a coal bubbling fluidised bed."
Lindsay comments: "I was so happy to receive the award for ‘the best paper in combustion from an early career researcher'. The paper highlights important factors from my PhD work and current postdoctoral work therefore to receive recognition in the form of this award is amazing."
