Acoustics students meet potential employers
Over 60 Acoustical Engineering students recently attended the ISVR’s annual Careers Fair to find out more about careers in acoustics and to meet potential employers.
The half day event included presentations from 10 companies ranging from consultants to car manufacturers, each outlining the importance of acoustics graduates to their businesses and the types of careers that they have to offer.
Presentations were given by: Frazer-Nash Consultancy Limited, Wolfson Microelectronics, Cole Jarman, Ultra Electronics Controls, Xodus, Jaguar Land Rover, Ramboll, Dyson, Arup and Atlas Elektronik UK. A number of the speakers at the event were Southampton Acoustics graduates.
URS, Spectrum Acoustic Consultants Ltd and Max Fordham also attended the event with careers stands during the breakout sessions.
