Coastal series seminar

One of John Hunter's main interests is sea-level rise induced by climate change. His recent work has involved investigations of sea-level rise in Australia and the Pacific region, and the way in which this rise increases the frequency and likelihood of flooding events. He will describe a simple method of deriving a vertical design allowance for (uncertain) sea-level rise, which preserves the expected number of flooding events.
