Sensor Systems Research at Roke Manor Research Seminar

Dr. Dean Thomas is the Technology Centre Manager for the Sensor Systems technology Centre at Roke Manor Research. Dean is a former student from ISVR and has worked in acoustics in a variety of industries since leaving the department. He will be talking about some of the acoustics work carried out by Roke including the HALO acoustic artillery location system and their work on array microphones. He will also be giving a presentation on the wider work of the Sensor Systems technology centre and in particular the extensive portfolio of vision processing technology which includes the Hawkeye system and vision based navigation systems that have been trialled for use on the European mars rover (ExoMars).
