TEAtime lecture series

TEAtime is an exciting, informative lecture series giving year 12/13 A level (or equivalent) students the opportunity to connect the fundamental content of science and maths to current University research.

Join current PhD students, early career researchers from across the University of Southampton, and guest speakers from industry at our TEAtime lectures.

For 2014/2015 we are holding four half-day sessions centred around the  fundamental aspects of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

Thursday 12th February, 2015
Thursday 19th March, 2015

During the half-day sessions (10.30 - 14.30) participants attend a seminar/workshop based session followed by a main lecture. Information on undergraduate courses, finance and careers will also be available. Participants  recieve a complementary lunch. Targeted widening participation schools and colleges will be provided transport, all other schools and colleges must provide their own transport.

TEAtime is free to attend for all sixth form schools and colleges.
