Virtual Instruments: Virtual Control demonstrates some of the exciting new ways of interacting with computers. Using real-time acoustic simulation technology from IRCAM, Paris, this activity allows you to "play" virtual instruments using video game and unusual controllers.
Sound Explorer focuses on how sound can be represented and manipulated digitally. Today's music recordings use Digital Signal Processing (DSP) as standard and here you will be able to interactively explore some of the key concepts involved.
