Hassan Sadeghi MSc Civil Engineering

Hi, I'm Hassan Sadeghi and I studied MSc Civil Engineering within Engineering and the Environment at the University of Southampton.

I would recommend the MSc Civil Engineering at Southampton, the great links with industry and high standard of teaching has helped me to make a smooth transition from student to professional life.

Having graduated from University of Manchester with a BEng in Civil Engineering I was keen to increase my employability by completing an MSc and gaining some valuable industrial experience.

Joining the University of Southampton to complete a Civil Engineering MSc with Industrial placement has allowed me to fulfil those ambitions. The staff guided me in the right direction in securing an Industrial Placement with Clancy Docwra and I now enjoy working as part of a joint venture called Optimise, delivering UK's biggest ever water project for Thames Water, and my company has already showed an interest to keep me on beyond my placement. I would therefore highly recommend an MSc in Civil Engineering at University of Southampton. University's great links with industry and high standard of teaching has helped me to make a smooth transition from student to professional life.
