Elaine Ho is a postgraduate research student within the Bioengineering Science Research Group at the University of Southampton.

Her project aims to utilise X-ray micro-computed tomography for 3-D histology of soft tissues in conjunction with other correlative imaging techniques.

Elaine previously completed her MSc in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southampton, where her MSc project investigated the use of microbubbles to bacterial biofilms for targeted delivery of anti-microbial treatments. Prior to that, she obtained her BEng in Mechanical Engineering graduating with first class honours also at the University of Southampton. Her undergraduate thesis focused on the optimisation of 3-D high resolution scanning electron microscopy of osteocytes.
