Mr Hamish Moodley is a postgraduate research student within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

My research spans the potential environmental, economic, and social benefits which stainless steel reinforced concrete bridges could bring to the world

He graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2020 with a first class Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering degree.

Hamish has a keen interest in sustainable infrastructure. His PhD project investigates the potential life cycle environmental, economic, and social benefits that stainless steel reinforced concrete bridges could have over carbon steel reinforced alternatives, by increasing bridge life spans and reducing required maintenance due to corrosion.
