Mr Stefano Neodo
Postgraduate research student
Mr Stefano Neodo is Research student within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.
Stefano started his doctoral study in January 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Robert wood and Dr Julian Wharton. The project concerns the study of microfluidic devices for structural health monitoring and integrity. This research project aims to increase the understanding of the mechanisms of reactions involved in the corrosion process. Stefano obtained his bachelor degree in Chemistry at the University of Ferrara (Italy) in December 2006 followed by a Masters degree in March 2009 involving the study of the specification of chlorine generated by electrochemical process. Afterwards, he joined Prof. Comninellis' group at the EPFL (Ecole Politecnique Federale de Lausanne, Switzerland) where he studies the oxidation of ammonia with different types of electrodes (DSE).
