At Southampton, we have the two of the most effective SPD processing facilities: Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) and High Pressure Torsion (HPT). The HPT facility is the only one in UK, and the one of only two in the European Union. Both facilities have the capacity to process samples from room temperature up to £250°C.
