Fluid structure interactions

Fluid-Structure Interaction Analysis Programme (FSIAP) is a linear fluid structure interaction analysis programme developed by the group based on the theory published by Proc R Soc Lond A (1991) and Phil Trans R Soc Lond A (1996).  The structures are modelled by linear FEA methods and the fluid (air or liquid) is governed by the wave equation, including free surface disturbance.  The programme can be used to solve a very wide range of fluid-structure interaction problems involving natural vibrations and dynamic responses.  The following figures show some selected examples.
