An alumni event marking 50 years of Ship Science and its diverse contributions to industry.
The conference was hosted by the University of Southampton showcasing the contributions of alumni from ship science, nautical studies and maritime engineering sciences in the maritime industry globally. Additionally, discussions at the event highlighted maritime technologies of the future and the challenges facing the global maritime industry over the coming decades.
A diverse range of speakers from ship science, nautical studies and maritime engineering sciences alumni as well as further senior figures from across the maritime industry attended the event.
The event was open exclusively to ship science, nautical studies and maritime engineering sciences alumni and around 200 members attended the 2 day conference at the University of Southampton and the conference banquet at the Southampton Football Club.
