Research project: Structure-Performance relationship in organic electronic devices - Dormant - Dormant

Currently Active:
No

The main focus of this project is to optimize the structure-performance relationship in organic electronic devices fabricated using high performance novel organic materials.

Project Overview

The project exploits the opportunity for syngergies between world leading novel organic materials of Merck Chemicals Ltd and the capabilities and expertise of the University of Southampton in a broad range of characterization techniques.  The understanding of the characteristics of thin film formation of the researched materials will lead to better control of different decomposition methods and, ultimately, to superior electrical transport characteristics for the fabricated devices.
