Edward Unwin MEng Ship Science

Hi, I'm Edward Unwin and I studied MEng Ship Science within Engineering and the Environment at the University of Southampton.

I have enjoyed studying topics that I am genuinely interested in, and meeting like minded people with the same interests.

"Make sure your maths is up to scratch - then go for it." That is fourth year MEng Ship Science undergraduate Edward Unwin's advice to future students. He chose the course as he thought Southampton the best place to study naval architecture as well as being near the sea for sailing.

Edward has enjoyed the course and thought academic staff friendly and supportive, always on hand to help with any problems. He was also impressed with the facilities on campus such as the computers in the design studio.

Outside lectures, Edward joined the road biking club, and the university's (unofficial) Shoe Polishing Club.
