Achieving chartered status in any profession indicates to the wider community a high level of subject knowledge and professional competence. It provides independent recognition of your standing and experience and verifies that you are a competent, qualified and committed professional.
Our four-year MEng degrees provide a route to chartered status, as they meet the educational requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng), providing the knowledge, understanding and skills for professional competence. Our three-year BEng courses meet the core technical requirements, and when supplemented by an accredited programme of Further Learning, also meet the educational requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer.
