English academic wins teaching award

Karen Seymour, who teaches in the English department, has received a Vice-Chancellor's Award for an outstanding contribution to education at the University of Southampton. Karen, who was nominated for the award by her students, is the fourth member of the department to have been given this award in recent years (the others are Bella Millett, John McGavin, and Ros King).
