New Italian translation for Aamer Hussein's 'Another Gulmohar Tree'

In September/October 2011, Aamer Hussein took part in a book tour of  Italy to celebrate the new Italian translation of his first novel, Another Gulmohar Tree. He was interviewed at the Liberia Argonauta and Liberia Orientalia in Rome by Tiziana Colusso and Bruno Lo Turco, the Italian translator of his second novel, The Cloud Messenger (for an online transcription of an interview (in Italian) from this trip, see here). He also took part in a book-signing and met readers in Feltrinelli's International Bookshop in Florence.

Aamer Hussein is Professorial Creative Writing Fellow in the English Department at Southampton, and has recently been shortlisted for the 2011 Muslim Writers' Awards for his novel The Cloud Messenger.
