Creative Writing MA students celebrate the publication of an anthology of their work.
Monday September 19th saw the launch of a new literary anthology edited by students on Southampton's MA programme in Creative Writing. The anthology, 'Prose and Cons', collects together 12 short stories on the theme of misconceptions. The party included short readings by authors in the volume, as well as talks by the poet Robyn Bolam, and the literary agent and publisher Tom Chalmers (Legend Press). One student who wasn't able to make the launch in person sent in a short videorecording for the launch party of her reading from her novel 'Mosquitoes', which you can watch here.
