A book launch by members of the MA Group.
On Monday 17th September, Southampton's MA Creative Writing students will launch The Storytellers' Anthology. The book, edited, written, and published by members of the MA group, is truly global in scope, its stories taking in carpet factories in Pakistan, schoolchildren in a Japanese earthquake, tales of mourning from South East London, and escapades on the mountains of Switzerland. The launch will feature readings from the anthology, and a talk from Alex Hammond about the role of literary agents in publishing. All are welcome to toast this exciting new collection, which is introduced by Philip Hoare, the award-winning non-fiction writer. A wine reception will follow the readings.
