Event details

One-off workshop on creative non-fiction

Have you ever thought about a career in journalism? Are you more interested in creative prose than writing fiction? Southampton's Royal Literary Fund Fellow James McConnachie will be running a special, one-off workshop on creative non-fiction, drawing on his own wide experience as a journalist, reviewer, travel writer, and writing tutor.

This workshop is primarily aimed at students on our Creative Writing MA [https://www.southampton.ac.uk/humanities/postgraduate/taught_courses/ taught_courses/english/w800_ma_creative_writing.page], but there are limited open places available to Southampton students or budding writers from further afield. All are welcome to apply. Please email Will May (w.may@soton.ac.uk) to reserve your place.
