Our Placements Team bring students and organisations together, facilitating placements that provide valuable industrial experience for students and introduce employers to an enthusiastic, intelligent, and flexible workforce.
Rob is a graduate of the University , completing his MA in Philosophy in 2010. He then worked in a local SME before returning to the University in 2011 to join the undergraduate admissions team in the Faculty of Humanities. More recently, Rob ran our Pathways to Law programme in the Law School, a national outreach programme which aims to widen access to the legal profession. This gave him valuable contacts within the industry – including top graduate recruiters – and an in-depth understanding of the routes into law and associated organisations.
Since joining the Placements Office, Rob has enjoyed connecting students in the faculty with a variety of organisations both local, national, and international, and is looking forward to helping more students engage with the professions.
