BioMedEng Legacy Prize Awarded to Professor Dan Bader
Professor Dan Bader, Professor of Bioengineering and Tissue Health has been awarded the BioMedEng Legacy Prize at this year's BioMedEng18 Conference.
The BioMedEng Legacy Prize is awarded to a UK Bioengineer/Biomedical Engineer/Medical Engineer whose career-long research and mentoring have contributed immensely to inspiring and training the next generation of academics, researchers and students in the discipline.
The BioMedEng18 Conference is the UK’s largest gathering of Biomedical Engineers Medical Engineers and Bioengineers held annually.
Professor Bader accepted the award at the closing ceremony of the conference on 7th September 2018 in Imperial College London, in front of over 500 delegates including academics and students from leading universities and research centres across the UK and around the world, as well as senior clinicians from the NHS, industrial partners from MedTech companies, Venture Capital Investors, and leading executives from research councils and charities.
