My thesis is titled 'How to make Tibetan films integrate into the global film market'. I am interested in the feasibility and sustainability of Tibetan films. Through the evaluation and examination of the current situation and problems facing Tibetan film, we can explore solutions that would combine Tibetan culture, geographical, and historical factors to eventually promote the globalisation of Tibetan film. My interests and research direction also include analysing the limitation of Tibetan films, or even Chinese ethinic minorities films, in order to find an appropriate developing route for their future. My experiences in the 68th Berlin international film festival and many Chinese youth film festivals help Tibetan films to meet the advanced concepts of 21 century film festivals.
