JUFE Fair 2015

The International Partnerships Office is a regular visitor to Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) in China, and we consider them to be one of our key partners.

As part of our push to market our courses to potential students in China, every year we attend and present at the international university recruitment fair that JUFE holds in October. This year there were over 18 different international universities attending the event, from over 10 different countries including Australia, Singapore and the US. Song Utz from the International Partnerships Office was representing the University of Southampton, and helped explain to students the benefits of studying in the UK, and in Southampton specifically. After the main fair, Song then held a presentation for students, including a Q&A, so they could get the best possible picture of what their lives in Southampton could be like.

As part of our ‘one-stop-shop’ approach to our partnership students, we continue to support the JUFE students who signed up on the trip with their applications, making sure they have a complete and worry-free transition from Jiangxi to Southampton.
