Studyabroad@Southampton

This September saw the launch of the new Studyabroad@Southampton programme. This is the broadest possible programme available for international students, and it includes modules from academic units across the Faculty of Social, Human and Mathematical Sciences.

This exciting Studyabroad@Southampton programme, based in the Faculty of Social, Human and Mathematical Sciences, gives a wide choice to international students looking to study with us for a semester or up to a year. The programme is comprised of two types of pathways; themed pathways which are interdisciplinary, giving students the chance to study particular issues from different academic perspectives, and discipline based pathways whereby modules are drawn from a single disciplinary area. All pathways give access to selections from the University’s Curriculum Innovation Programme, itself a part of a project to allow students greater flexibility in their learning.

This year saw the first students arrive in Southampton from our partner universities in Asia, and students have already begun applying for Semester 2. We wish them all the best of luck at Southampton, and we look forward to welcoming more students in the years to come.
