JUFE Study Abroad Fair 2017

From the 14th to the 15th October this year, IPO's own Song Utz visited Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) to represent the University of Southampton in the 12th JUFE Study Abroad Fair.

Song was received by Ms Long Xiao and Mr Meijun Gong, the Director and Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange (OICE). JUFE's Vice President, Professor Xiaoping Wang, hosted the opening ceremony.

The fair is held annually as a platform for JUFE's overseas partners to meet with the potential applicants who are interested in studying abroad. This year, representatives from 30 universities internationally participated and over 3000 students were reported to attend. This year's event was extended to a newly established campus, Gong Qing Campus, in addition to Jiaoqiao and Mailu campus where the fair was held in previous years.

As JUFE is one of our closest partners, it was a great chance for Song to meet with the University executives and programme coordinators and strengthen our relationship, as well as encourage the next cohort of JUFE students to choose Southampton for the next step in their academic journey.
