Welcome Dinner 10th October 2017

The Welcome Dinner for the 2017/18 Student intake took place on Tuesday 10th October at 6pm in the Level 1 Student Foyer.

It was a great success, with many students coming to mingle with friends, old and new!  For this year's dinner, Mark Cranshaw, Director of Faculty International Partnerships along with Dr Jan Podivinsky, Head of Economics, John Aldridge, Song Utz and Meng Zhan were on hand to provide hands on advice and guidance for the students as they begin their journey of study in Southampton.

With food provided by the Faculty and the FIPO, the welcome dinner gives students the chance to meet key academic staff informally and get their advice personally.  It also gives the students the chance to meet each other, something they may not be able to do otherwise as our Partnerships span a variety of different courses and academic units.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to the dinner, it was lovely to see so many of you there!
