The Faculty International Office was pleased to collaborate with Xiamen University again to arrange for Southampton students to travel to China for Xiamen Summer School 2019. This follows the success of the 2016 & 2018 Summer Schools.

The programme ran from 30th June 2019 to 13th July 2019 and mixed academic learning and cultural understanding. The diverse programme consisted of seminars from XMU academics and guest speakers, business visits, day trips, and eating authentic Chinese cuisine.

Our students found this trip highly educational and enjoyable! The Faculty International Office looks forward to collaborating with Xiamen again in the future and offering our students further opportunities.
