Shanghai Alumni Event 20th October 2019

On the evening of 20th October, Professor Brenda Hannigan, Head of Law School, and Song Pan Utz, Senior Manager of the Faculty International Office of Social Sciences, and Miriam Gómez López, Faculty International Officer of Partnerships, hosted an alumni event in Shanghai.

The evening commenced with a presentation delivered by Brenda, highlighting updates from the Faculty and University. This was followed by lively conversations and networking amongst the guests.

This popular event had a great turnout of 70 students. It was an opportunity for us to meet with many of Southampton graduates and for them to reconnect, rekindle, and be part of the Southampton global community. Our alumni will continue to be the inspiration to the new students coming after them. Their success is a proof of the power of learning. Learning not only from academics, but also from exchanging across the world.
