Southampton Law School - Seminar: Global Environmental Crisis, Environmental Law as a Vaccine for the Planetary Pandemic

On 19th February 2021, a carefully planned rule of law and sustainable development full-day seminar programme, organised by Southampton Law School, took place online.

Prof Werner Scholtz, Professor of Global Environmental Law and Head of Southampton Law School, hosted the ‘The Global Environmental Crisis: Environmental Law as a Vaccine for the Planetary Pandemic’ seminar. Throughout the day, Prof Scholtz introduced esteemed guest speakers from around the world who each gave presentations on wide-ranging Environmental Law topics.

All students from within the Faculty of Social Sciences were invited to attend and broaden their legal knowledge by listening to the in-depth talks about global environmental issues.
