Partner Student Advisor

The Faculty International Office of Social Sciences (FIO) is very pleased to introduce Jinghan Guan, our partner student advisor for the current academic year.

To help you during your time at Southampton our partnership students are assigned a student advisor. This is often an international student who has studied at Southampton, so they are able to give first-hand advice on setting in, adapting to cultural differences, and living in Southampton.

The student advisor also acts as a friendly point of contact who students can feel comfortable discussing issues with. The student advisor then helps where they can or directs the student to the best University service to help with the issue.

Jinghan is available to meet students in person every Wednesday during term time in Room 2127, Building 58 (Murray), between 1pm to 3pm. Alternatively, students can also contact Jinghan by email at: fss-student-advisor@soton.ac.uk
