One of the most famous landmarks in the UK, Stonehenge is a must see! Legally protected since 1882 and dating back to 3100BC, Stonehenge stands at nearly 13 feet and is today owned by the Crown and run by English Heritage. Find out about who built Stonehenge, why it is there and what does is symbolise. Free Mandarin or English Audio guide included. Salisbury Cathedral took over 38 years to build and was completed in 1258. Since 1549 the cathedral has had the tallest spire in the UK measuring 404 feet. As well as looking around the Cathedral you will take the Tower tour which will take you on a journey into the Cathedral spire where you can view the ancient wood scaffolding. Departing and returning from the University interchange on Saturday 10th March 2018 from 8.30am for the all inclusive price of £75 (please note lunch will not be provided). Payment will required up front to secure your place and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer refunds. Proposed Itinerary: 8.30am: Coach pick up from University Interchange. 9.30am: Visit Stonehenge, Museum and Audio Tour - remember to grab a quick lunch. 12.30pm: Coach departs for Salisbury. 1.15pm: Arrive at Salisbury for Cathedral and Tower tour. 4.30pm: Coach departs for drop off at University Interchange.
