Take advantage of this exciting opportunity to attend the summer school at Xiamen University (XMU). Xiamen is one of the most vibrant, picturesque and authentic cities in China and this is your chance to immerse yourself in Chinese Culture.
This two week programme mixes academic learning and cultural understanding with business and economics seminars from XMU academics and guest speakers, business visits, day trips and authentic Chinese cuisine. You will learn more about business culture and the economic climate in China and delve into the history of contemporary Xiamen. An authentic martial arts workshop as well experiencing painting and calligraphy along with opera appreciation and Chinese facial mask making, will make this a truly unforgettable trip.
There are subsidies of up to £400 available to help towards to the cost of the international flights (around £800-£1000), visa (approx £215) and trips (approx £130). Accommodation, meals and tuition are free.
Highlights: Enjoy a welcome banquet at a local restaurant and fantastic day trips to the charming Gulang Island, Zengcuoan Village, Quanzhou City, the Earth Towers of Hakka and the beautiful Xiamen Countryside.
