Dr Emma Waight is a Research Associate within Geography and Environmental Science at the University of Southampton.

Dr Emma Waight is a social and cultural geographer, with interests in care, family and sustainability. Her research has explored consumption and identity, and she has an interest in posthumanism and new materialisms. On the Nuclear Families Project, Dr Waight has provided expertise in qualitative methods and has co-authored a paper on the care of nuclear test veterans and their families, entitled ‘Exploring care within the nuclear test veteran family community’, with Dr Becky Alexis-Martin.
