Prestigious editorial role and software award for PhD student
PhD student, Robin Wilson has recently won a Software Sustainability Institute Fellowship.
It will fund work to understand the sustainability of both commercially available software and software that researchers write themselves in the field of remote sensing.Further details are available at: www.software.ac.uk.
In 2012, Robin also became the Editor of the Remote sensing and photogrammetry society's (RSPSoc) SENSED magazine,. This is the UK's professional society for Remote Sensing and Earth Observation and the magazine has an international circulation.
