Geography to take part in live Guardian PhD debate, Friday 21 June

This Friday, 21 June, The Guardian Higher Education Network live web-chat will discuss whether to stay in academia or leave following a PhD.

Geography and Environment Postdoctoral Research Fellow Nicola Wardop will take part on the debate, Postdoc dilemma: to leave or not to leave academia. It will discuss making an informed choice on the future of your research career

Nicola is an MRC funded Research Fellow working in Geography and the Environment. Her research focusses on the use of environmental data and spatial statistics to investigate the spatial distribution and spread of infectious diseases in developing country settings. Her supervisor is Pete Atkinson .

The debate takes place on The Guardian website this Friday from 12-2pm
