From PhD to Data Scientist: Transitioning to government jobs after a PhD Seminar

After completing my PhD in Geography last year, I joined Ordnance Survey as a Graduate Data Scientist. In this talk I will discuss my experiences in applying for jobs at a government organisation, what it’s like to work as a Data Scientist in government and how my PhD skills lent themselves to the transition.
