Climate change analyst

Climate change analysts evaluate scientific data and research concerning the climate to create models and predictions about what could happen to the Earth's climate in the future.

Climate change analysts need to know both the policy and scientific aspects of their work, though roles tend to focus on one or the other.

Typical work activities

You may end up working for a variety of different clients. Governments use climate change information to draw up legislation while charities and other groups use it for awareness campaigns or fundraising efforts.
