Qualifying as a geomorphologist

You are likely to have studied some geomorphology during your degree at the University of Souhampton and it is possible to take this knowledge further and make a career out of it.

 Qualifications

1. A Bachelor of Science degree in Geography.
2. Many employers will look for an MSc in the area of geomorphology in which you wish to specialise

 

 Work experience

Experience in modelling and mapping packages is useful to show employers; this could be through your degree course if it had a large computer based element or through experience in a more junior role.
