Our research
Our research fits into four specific themes
The newly renamed Centre for Global Health and Policy (GHaP) is an interdisciplinary centre of excellence for global health research within the School of Social Sciences. Research is focused on the marginalised and vulnerable populations in low and middle income countries (LMICs), with the aim to influence policy and practice and improve health within these contexts. GHaP aims to have a demonstrable effect on research capacity at national, regional and multilateral levels of governance while contributing to the UK aid strategy through a focus on vulnerable populations.
